Metal Slug - Tarma Rovingby ~Born-Toulouse

Apart from fighting games, beat em ups and oldschool console rpgs, I always liked run n gun-games like the Contra or Metal Slug-series.

As I am always playing as Tarma whenever I get the chance to have a 2-player-coop game in Metal Slug, it was just natural to build a sprite figure of him someday. I did take some creative liberties with his pants' shading, though.

what are these sprites made of?

They are made out of plastic fusable beads, I think the main brand over in America is called "Perler Beads".

Here in Germany, the main brand is HAMA, so they are known as "HAMA beads".

A lot of talented people on Deviantart work with them, check their work out too!
